Jugend forscht

Participants submit an independent STEM research project (max 15-page report) in one of seven subject areas and present it at regional, state and federal levels. Primarily for students schooling in Germany.

Who it is for

  • Ages 15-21 (junior track up to 14)
  • At least 4th grade in the registration year
  • Aimed at students in Germany (verify residency/school requirement)

Application steps

  1. Register online by 30 November
  2. Submit written research report by January
  3. Present the project at the regional competition
