The Big Bang Competition (UK Young Scientists & Engineers)

Open to UK young people aged 11-18, entrants submit a science/engineering/technology project individually or as a team. Finalists go through video-call judging, with select projects showcased at The Big Bang Fair and overall winners crowned UK Young Scientist/Engineer/Technologist of the Year.

  2. Submit online before the early-March deadline
  3. If a finalist, take part in video-call judging and the showcase
